The elder daughter of Robyn puddleempress and Nuriko fiercememory. She was named after Nuriko's beloved little sister who was killed when they were little.

After discovering what the truth was about her priestesship and everything else, a pregnant Robyn fled to Konan with Nuriko. She later gave birth to Ryuuen alittledragon, who is, and thanks to her wishes will remain, Nakago's seiryuusdemon only son and heir.

Robyn and Nuriko were married just after Ryuuen turned four, and soon after Kourin was born. She is completely and utterly spoiled by both her parents, and anyone who comes in contact with her. She never fails to charm anyone with her bubbly and adorable personality, much like Robyn does now that her normal personality is back to an extent (years of Empress training don't just leak outa of your brain).

Kourin's very protective of her mother, not liking her to be sad or upset, so she hates it when she has to be around Ryuuen's father. She's heard people talking so often about how what he's like and what he did, she never wants to see him ever. She idolizes her older brother and thinks he's the best brother there ever was.
